Mr. Garry W. Hawes has been exclusively involved in the HVAC industry since 1975. His work experience over the years included installation, service, superintendent, estimator, project manager & designer. In August 1993 Garry founded Metro Mechanical. Garry has built Metro Mechanical from a company with 5 employees in 1993 to what it is today with over 150 employees. Garry has stepped away from the day to day operations but is still involved behind the scenes.  In addition to his involvement with the Kaufman Church of Christ,  Arms of Hope , and the Kaufman County Child Advocacy Center, Garry enjoys spending time with wife, Debbie, 3 children, and 10 grandchildren.

Chris began working in the construction industry for his family’s business in 1978. After moving to Texas in 1984, he served as a lead plumber, air conditioning mechanic and field superintendent. In 1989, he used this knowledge base to move into the role of project manager/estimator.  Chris joined Metro Mechanical, Inc. in April of 1995 and currently serves as president and lead project manager for the company. He holds a Texas Class A license in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. He provides leadership to the company by working with all departments, along with helping maintain company policies under the guidance of the founder and former President, Garry Hawes. Establishing long term goals and a customer first mentality is of utmost priority.  Chris attests his hard-working, business principles to the great examples he has worked under over the years; his father Roland, brother Bruce, his partner Garry and father in-law, Morris Cochrum. Chris owes much of his success in life and business to Kathy, his wife of over 30 years and mother to their two girls, Alexis and Peyton.

Michael serves as Vice President, Estimator, and Principle of  Metro Mechanical, Inc.  He began his career as an installer at Metro Mechanical in 1993  and now as an Estimator specializing in design build projects.  Michael holds an A license in the state of Texas.  He is also a licensed pilot, who enjoys flying, drag racing, and hanging out with his wife and kids.

Wesley joined Metro Mechanical in 2002, starting as a service tech, transitioning into service sales 2004 & construction estimating in 2005.  Wesley oversees the plan & spec estimating department which includes estimating, construction sales, marketing & business development.  In Wesley’s time away from the office he enjoys spending time wife his April, children Victoria, Logan & Landon. Wesley & his wife April are very involved in the Caddo Mills ISD, Athletics & youth sports association. Wesley is also an avid hunter and spends weekends at the deer lease with family and Metro Mechanical clients.
